It prints money and makes gold!

According to Famitsu, from March 3, to December 17, 2017, the Nintendo Switch has sold 2,988,399 units. Earlier this morning, the publication has released sales for last week and the Nintendo Switch has sold 269,684 units. That puts total console sales to December 24 at 3,258,083.

The PlayStation 2, one of the best selling consoles in Japan has sold 3,016,622 units from March 4 to December 31, 2000. What’s interesting about the sales for the PlayStation 2 is that there was a dip in sales in the second half of the year whereas the Nintendo Switch has been consistently improving.
