Closer look at Dragon Ball FighterZ Collectorz Edition

Screaming never looked so good

With the recent launch of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bandai has given fans a solid collection set that comes with three art prints, steelbook case, and a 7″ Goku statue, created by Banpresto.

While this is not Bandai’s first attempt on delivering a collection set with a statue, they’ve created a Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 collector’s edition back in October 2016 of the game’s release for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The Xenoverse 2 set included a short manga book, steelbook case, selected soundtrack disc, and a 13″ Goku statue, created by Master Stars Piece.

Both Dragon Ball collection are enormous, thanks to the included statue. While having the steelbook case and the rest of the non-statue items are great, you picked up the collection set solely for the statue.

The statues from both sets are great but having to compare the two, the Dragon Ball FighterZ comes out on top. While the detailed, 13″ Goku statue from Xenoverse 2 is a great size and to display, the vibrant colored and the manga-style of the 7″ Goku statue for FighterZ is what won. Much prefer the 13″ in size, the 7″ fits comfortably on a shelf or office desk. Each piece layered on the FighterZ statue gives the statue depth and creativity.

You can check out additional photos of the two Goku statues and comparison of the two Dragon Ball games. The collection set for Dragon Ball FighterZ is still available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Amazon.
