Square Enix released a new Kingdom Hearts III trailer during Japan’s D23 Expo event earlier this morning. The event is solely based on Disney itself, a new trailer was expected due to the game heavenly involved with Disney characters and with Square Enix and the Kingdom Hearts official twitter accounts showing account activity during the D23 Expo.

The new trailer shows off additional footage of Toy Story, Tangled, and showing off a new world of Monsters, Inc. An additional Pixar world added which turns Sora and company in forms of monsters and as they meet with Sulley, Mike, and Boo. Check out the revealed trailer below of Kingdom Hearts III:

During the trailer, we saw Sora summoning Ariel along with a few slick attack moves. With Ariel being summoned, this maybe the first time Sora won’t be adventuring the Little Mermaid‘s world? Hopefully we won’t have to play the odd mini-game from Kingdom Hearts II. We didn’t get to see any additional footage of the Big Hero 6 world but we’ll take another Pixar movie this time.

Additionally, Square Enix revealed the game’s new theme song titled “Don’t Think Twice” by Hikaru Utada, you can listen to it with the video below. No confirmed date has been set but still on schedule for 2018. Kingdom Hearts III will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
