Kotaku UK and their sources are reporting that a Spyro the Dragon Trilogy Remaster is in the works and would release in Q3 2018, exclusively for the PlayStation 4. For PlayStation 4 Pro owners, the game will support it. The game would be a console-exclusive to the PlayStation 4 for one-year, very similar to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which by the way, Crash is reported that its timed exclusive for it ends this year. Speaking of Crash, sources say the same developer, Vicarious Visions, is working on the Spyro trilogy. Expect the trilogy to release to other consoles later in 2019.
The Spyro remastered will have the following games and may include content that was cut from the original games: Spyro the Dragon, Ripto’s Rage!, and Year of the Dragon. The announcement of the trilogy would be in March, though not 100% confirmed.
