With the upcoming movie of Tomb Raider, releases in theaters March 16, Square Enix is celebrating by putting Lara Croft in the mobile game, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. With Square Enix having rights to the game, they would take advantage of this. The event will start March 9th and will end March 21st. Players that login daily can receive a “10+1 Summon Ticket” and Lapis (one of the game’s currency).
The game’s collaboration event will include a crack on fighting the serpent boss Apep during the Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris raid. Lara Croft is modeled off the classic Tomb Raider in sprite form. The original main characters in Brave Exvius will also be re-skinned to match the designs of Tomb Raider. During the event’s limited time, players can summon these characters: Explorer Aileen, Divine Soleil, and Pharaoh Abe.
Below is the official trailer of the announcement.
On March 6th, additional updates for the mobile game will include a chance to summon a 5-star Ashe (Final Fantasy XII) from the tutorial gacha, pick up a 5-star Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII) as a reward through the Rookie Mission and more.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a free-to-play mobile game, available now for iOS and Android devices.
