Compile Heart has announced the next Hyperdimension Neptunia game will be developed outside in Japan, in fact in Quebec, Canada. Canada studio Artisan Games is taking on the development of the game, titled Yuusha Neptune (Brave Neptunia).

Each of them is painstakingly hand drawn and animated utilizing the traditional techniques created by the Walt Disney Company in the 1950’s. At Artisan, preserving the original image each of our artists’ creations is paramount in the creative process to develop the most unique worlds and meaningful characters.

Our games are designed for gamers that want to re-experience the golden age of RPGs with the entry of titles like the Final Fantasy Series, the Secret of Mana, Xenogears and Chrono Trigger. Our titles are created by passionate fans of the genre utilizing the latest technology in order to deliver the AAA next generation experience that you would expect of a console and PC RPG. From what we’ve seen in the development video and about Artisan Studios, this maybe quite different than the past Hyperdimension Neptunia games that has been made.

Rumor has it that official website once shown the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam logos, however those seemed to be missing. We know at the very least the game will come to the PlayStation 4 based on the fact last few Hyperdimension Neptunia games were released on the PlayStation and when more details revealed in the upcoming Dengeki PlayStation magazine on April 26th.
