Earlier, the Australia eShop for the Nintendo Switch revealed that Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse would be coming out next week but no official announcement was made by WayForward… until now. Originally released in in October 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox One, and PC, WayForward officially announces that the classic platform game will be headed to the Nintendo Switch March 20th.

Fans of the series will be happy to know that the game has been tweaked to include HD Rumble and a Super Shantae Nab mini-game. Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop on March 20th. Right now the game is priced on the PlayStation Network (PSN) for $19.99, expect the same price.
