During the Gotta Go Fast: The Official Sonic the Hedgehog Panel at SXSW, Sega has announced they’ll be releasing animated shorts titled Sonic Mania Adventures, based on Sonic Mania video game (released last year). There’ll be five episodes and will animated by the same team who did the opening for Sonic Mania. Soundtrack will be done by the same composer, Tee Lopes.
During the panel, three of the five episodes will have no dialogue and each episode will be tied together. The videos will be free-to-watch on YouTube and the first episode will be available next month. After that, each month will receive a new episode until August and by that time, Sonic Mania Plus will be available.
