Warriors’ Awakening DLC Pack Dated in Japan Along with an Update

Prepare to battle with the latest DLC pack and update to version 1.5.

Japan and North America has updated their Fire Emblem Warriors official site and has a launch date for the last DLC pack. The “Awakening” DLC to be March 29th in Japan, North America on March 28th. Aside from the DLC pack, a version 1.5 will be available for free the same day. Below are the details for both the “Awakening” DLC and version 1.5 update.

Awakening DLC Pack (DLC Pack #3)

Additional playable characters

  • Owain: Balanced Resonance – Raises damage dealt to enemy the smaller the character’s gap between STR & MAG stats
  • Tharja: Destruction Pact – Raises damage dealt the lower the character’s HP is, but equipping this skill will cause slip damage which gradually reduces the user’s HP, although this won’t affect the HP damage evaluation in post-battle results.
  • Olivia: Galeforce – Replenishes Musou/Warrior and Awakening gauges for each time defeating a strong enemy/officer.

Additional Costumes Added

  • Exalt costume for Chrom
  • Sage costume for Lissa
  • Dark Flier costume for Cordelia

The “Armor Break” models changes will added for the following characters: Chrom, Lucina, Robin, Lissa, Frederick, Cordelia, Owain, Tharja, and Olivia.

Exclusive Weapons

Characters from the Fire Emblem Awakening game will receive the following weapons:

  • Robin: Thoron
  • Lissa: Lissa’s (Healing) Axe
  • Frederick: Frederick’s (Solid) Axe
  • Cordelia: Cordelia’s (Love) Spear
  • Owain: Missiletainn
  • Tharja: Tharja’s Spell
  • Olivia: Olivia’s (Dancing) Sword

Additional Weapon Skills

Couple of the weapon skills that were once amiibo exclusives are now available in the DLC: “Chrom’s Training Sword” and “Tiki’s Tear”

  • Active Strengthening: Further amplifies damage raised from Weapon Skill effects
  • Strike Rate+: Increases speed of normal and strong attacks
  • All Stats+: Raises all stats except for movement speed

(Additional costumes, usable weapons, and weapon skills can be obtained as rewards for clearing History Maps.)

Additional History Maps

  • Scion of Legend (Based on Paralogue 5,where you can acquire  Owain to join the party)
  • Exalt Emmeryn (Based on Chapter 9,where you can acquire Tharja to join the party)
  • Caravan Dancer (Based on Chapter 11: Mad King Gangrel, where you can acquire Olivia to join the party)

Here are the details on the version 1.5 free update from the Japanese site:

  • Maximum Character Level Increase
    • Increases the maximum character level from 130 to 150.
  • Weapon Skills
    • “Rightful God” – Increases weapon attack power to match that of a Hero Weapon, and negates the disadvantages of an effectiveness weapon skill. (This can be obtained via a random drop.)
  • Blessings – The following blessings have been added to the Temple:
    • “Speed Blessing” and “Luck Blessing” Effects – Increases the corresponding stats of all party members.
    • “Heal Blessing” Effect – Automatically recovers the HP of all party members over time.
    • “Transporter Blessing” Effect – Increases the amount of materials you can obtain through drops.
    • “Craftsman Blessing” Effect – Increases the amount of weapons you can obtain through drops, as well as their level, quality, and number of skills.
    • “Common Materials Blessing” Effect – Makes common materials easier to drop.
  • Additional Elements – The following additional elements have been added to the Temple:
    • “Informal Blessing” – By receiving this blessing, the levels of all enemies in battle will become 150.
    • “Tactician Blessing” – By receiving this blessing, the battle will enter a “Tactician Mode” where the player-controlled character can only deal zero damage, making it a fight can only be cleared via NPC instruction.
    • (Informal Blessing and Tactician Blessing will be added to the “Blessings” menu at the Temple.)
    • “Level Reset” – Level Reset has been added to the Temple menu. Depending on the level of the selected character, you can revert to Level 1 instead of receiving materials.
  • Other
    • Switch Version: Support for the video capture feature.
    • Adds feature to start the battle with the same blessings as the previous battle. (Materials will be automatically consumed. This can be turned on or off via “Auto Blessing Continuation” in the settings.)
    • User interface improvements for the Battle Results screen.
    • Bug fixes.

Fire Emblems Warriors is available now for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS. You can purchase all three DLC packs for $19.99 (USD) or separately at $8.99 (USD). DLC pack #3 is slated to release by end of March.
