Months ago, NIS America announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA would release on the Nintendo Switch in the summer of 2018. An update earlier for the publisher has made an announcement, the game will release on the Switch on June 26 for North America, June 29 for Europe. The game was released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita last year.
The Nintendo Switch version will have content from both PlayStation consoles along with the updated dubbed voices. The Day-1 edition, “Adventure’s Edition” will receive a double-sided mini-poster of the map of the island, Isle of Seiren and on the other side is the heroine Dana. The Dana side of the poster is a beautiful artwork, so we wish there were two mini-posters and not one. The edition will also include an exclusive foil pack of three character cards featuring Adol, Dana, and Dogi.
NIS America has also released a new trailer of the game’s launch date, check it out below. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will release on the Nintendo Switch June 26, 2018 for North America, June 29, 2018 for Europe. It is available now for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The PC release date is tentatively set for April.
