Steins;Gate is one of the most popular visual novel is getting an upgrade, Steins;Gate Elite. The remastered version will have updated visuals, using the animation from the original 24 episode anime series and will have brand-new material. Originally, the game used still images. Publisher Spike Chunsoft says the game will be the “ultimate version” and new animations for certain endings. The game will release this year for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

Along with the announcement, a new trailer was revealed showing the English version announcement along with the comparison between the original and remastered versions. Steins;Gate Elite will be released worldwide this year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC with Japanese audio and English subtitles. Japan will also receive a PlayStation Vita version.
