Ikaruga Headed Towards the PlayStation 4

Germany rates the shoot ’em up, get ready for a fight.

Shoot ’em up, arcade-style Ikaruga received a rating earlier in March on Germany’s USK (Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body) website, an organization which was established by the games industry, for the PlayStation 4 earlier this month on March 9, 2018. Originally released on arcades in 2001, Ikaruga went on to appear on the Dreamcast, Gamecube, Xbox 360, and PC. The shoot ’em up is known for its insane difficulty and has been a fan-favorite for years.

As for a release date for the game, that is still unknown. However basing off of the rating of the Gamecube version in Germany (March 12, 2003) to the release date (May 23, 2003 in Europe), we could potentially see it release around May 20, 2018, it’s a rough guess.

For those who haven’t played the game, below is a short gameplay footage.
