Spyro Reignited Trilogy Announced

Coming this September for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Original rumored back in February, more and more leaks are appearing about the remastered game of Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Spyro the DragonSpyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon). Overnight, a product posted on Amazon Mexico revealing a release date for September 21, 2018 for the PlayStation 4. Now, it’s official.

A new trailer celebrating 20 years of Spyro, showcasing the game’s remastered graphics has appeared and while not an official date, the trailer reveals a “September 2018” launch for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. No Nintendo Switch at this time but rumored to come out 2019.

The same team who worked on the remastered Crash Bandicoot trilogy, Toys for Bob, is working on the Spyro trilogy and by looking at the footage and screenshots, it’s definitely an upgrade!

Check out the gallery of the leaked screenshots of the game below. Spyro will release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2018 (Amazon listing September 21st). Initially the games were up for pre-order on Amazon but were taken down. They should re-appear soon for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
