PlayStation Japan has announced that they are closing down PlayStation Video (PS Video) service for the PlayStation 3 this spring.
New content can be submitted up till Friday, April 20, 2018 and all new content will cease to exist on the PlayStation 3 on Tuesday, May 18, 2018. PlayStation owners will now have to move on to a different device to watch their PS Video content. As sad it is, Sony is starting to close down services for the last-generation console so this won’t be the last service we’ll hear.
