Disgaea HD Remake Gets a Release Date

Special box, new adjustments.

For the 15th anniversary of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the first installment of the series, will be getting a HD remake. According to Ryokutya2089, the game will not only have updated graphics but also gameplay adjustments. While no console was announced, we do know that the game’s official title is “Makai Senki Disgaea Refine” and will be released July 26 this year in Japan.

While no western date announced and footage has been released, we do know the first limited edition will come with the original soundtrack, a desk calendar, all in a special box for the price of 9,200 yen (approximately $86). More details to be announced at a later date. Due to the popularity of the Nintendo Switch and how well Disgaea 5 has sold on it, we wouldn’t be surprise the game would release on the Switch and the PlayStation 4.
