The remake of Senran Kagura Burst is heading west, making it the second Senran Kagura game coming out this year. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal will release this fall for the PlayStation 4 and PC.

The remake takes the side-scrolling action of the original game and turns it into 3D action. Battles and graphics have seen a major evolution, as well as Shinobi Transformations. Furthermore, it also includes a remake of its predecessor Senran Kagura: Skirting Shadows, making it the ultimate introduction to the series.

As for special editions, that is still unknown. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal will release fall 2018 in western countries for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
