Nintendo has announced their schedule for this year’s e3 and if you’ve been following along, it’s mostly showcasing player matches of Splatoon 2 and the upcoming Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. However there will be a video presentation strictly for the Nintendo Switch.
The Splatoon 2 World Championship will kick things off on e3 weekend, starting June 11 to the finals on June 12. On June 12 is the Nintendo Switch video presentation, this will most likely be the most-anticipated segment in Nintendo’s schedule. Afterwards, there will be three days of the Nintendo Treehouse, showcasing Nintendo Switch games, discussions with developers of these games, and of course Super Smash Bros.
After the conclusion of the Splatoon 2 World Championship, the Super Smash Bros. Invitational will begin and end the same day, June 12. The biggest game Nintendo is pushing out to everyone is, obviously Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. Since the game’s announcement from the last Nintendo Direct, the internet and Nintendo fans can’t stop talking about it and questioning “is this a direct port from the original Super Smash Bros. from the Wii U?” “Is there going to be new characters announced?” “Will Solid Snake make a return to Super Smash Bros.?” “Will there be cheese involved?”
Okay that last one was not real, but if cheese was involved, how would it play into Super Smash Bros.? Some of the big questions from this year’s Nintendo e3 presentation will be games such as the next Pokémon game, Metroid Prime 4, Yoshi, etc. Take a look at the official e3 schedule below from Nintendo and for more details, you can visit their e3 website.
