Shonen Jump’s latest issue revealed quite a few goodies for Nintendo fans. One of them being a huge enough news that it would “shock the world.” On June 9th, Nintendo will reveal the huge news that’ll be related to Splatoon. No other details were mentioned, we can only speculate as the date of the announcement is the Saturday before E3 2018.

Could we see an anime series of the game? We’ve seen manga chapters created so an anime isn’t too farfetched. With Splatoon 2’s Octo Expansion coming around the corner, perhaps a release date would be made along with extra goodies? How about a crossover of Super Mario characters in the Splatoon world? During this year’s GDC, developers used Mario and Yoshi when first working on Splatoon.
