While North American and Europe won’t get a physical release of Okami HD for the Nintendo Switch, Japan is getting theirs. Capcom’s Japan store (e-Capcom) has a list of Okami HD limited edition goodies to pick such as the soundtrack and a Switch pouch. Unless you can import this, you’ll be shedding a tear that western countries aren’t getting any special treatments.
The Japanese PlayStation 3 version of Okami contains both Japanese and English subtitles so there is a chance the Nintendo Switch version in Japan will have both but for now, it’s a mystery. You can take a closer look at the limited edition photos below the article.
Okami HD is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game arrives on the Nintendo Switch on August 9, 2018.
