Kingdom Hearts III Gets a Release Date

Surprise! It’s not 2018.

Earlier tonight, a Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, California. During the concert, a new trailer and release date was announced by the game’s director, Tetsuya Nomura. While reports were speculating a 2018 release date, well it’s not going to be this year (shocked).

Kingdom Hearts III will release January 29, 2019 for the PlayStatin 4 and Xbox One worldwide. However, Japan will receive it a few days earlier on January 25. Probably not the best news coming out but at least we have a specific date, hopefully it doesn’t get pushed back. This will be the first time a Kingdom Hearts title will release on a Xbox console, no news about the Nintendo Switch and don’t expect it to come from this year’s E3.

Those who have attended the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra concert has mentioned that Sora was accompanied by Remy from Ratatouille. We’ll post the latest trailer as soon as it hits publicly!
