On the last day of Anime Expo 2018, Bandai Namco has announced that Tokyo Ghoul: re Call will be coming west for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game was recently announced last month in Japan. While North American and Europe are getting both the PlayStation 4 and PC version, Japan is only getting the PlayStation 4. This isn’t the only time Japan isn’t getting a PC release for a game that was released in the country first. Dragon Quest XI is another title getting a western-only PC release.
The game will be a single-player action, with online battles, online co-op, and the story will be told from the perspective of three characters. Tokyo Ghoul: re Call releases this winter in Japan for the PlayStation 4. No date was announced for North America and Europe, though it looks like it’ll be a 2019 window, but will be released for both the PlayStation 4 and PC.
