Square Enix’s Dissidia Final Fantasy NT has spots to fill in its season pass roster. The company has been teasing new characters would be revealed till February 2019. The newest character to be released in August was hinted to be a female character in the later series. Today, Square Enix has announced that Rinoa Heartilly from Final Fantasy VIII is the next character to join the battle, and what an improvement since her PlayStation Classic release in the late ’90s.

Rinoa won’t be alone. Her faithful companion Angelo will aid her in battle. The heroine of Final Fantasy VIII will use her Shooting Star weapon and when pushed to the limit, she’ll use those angel wings in good use as her limit break in the game will have her flying across the field, shooting long-range attacks to take down her foe, even if it is Squall.

Including Rinoa, three characters have been revealed out of the six: Final Fantasy VI‘s protagonist Locke Cole and Final Fantasy XII‘s villain Vayne Carudas Solidor. While I personally haven’t touch the world of Final Fantasy XII, the characters thus far being released are off to a great start.
