Yo-kai Watch may not be as popular here in North American than Japan but that’s not stopping Level-5 to create a new Yo-kai Watch game, Yo-kai Watch 4. This will be the first of the series to be on a new console and on the Nintendo Switch. Before the series has always been on the Nintendo 3DS.

Yo-kai Watch 4 will be based on time and space, according to Japanese magazine CoroCoro. This is probably why we are seeing an alternate Jibanyan in the game’s screenshots and character art. The game will revolve around three protagonist and their Yo-kai from their world: Keita, Natsume, and Shin. Keita has been in previous entries of the Yo-kai Watch installments and the popular anime show.

Not much details as of now but we expect a lot more to drop towards the fall season. Yo-kai Watch 4 will release this winter in Japan, no specific date yet. No announcement on a western release but we won’t be surprised to hear one either end of the year or early 2019.
