My Hero Academia Will Utilize “Long Hope Philia” for both Movie and TV Series

Suda Masaki’s first composed song for an animated film and currently in Season 3, ending 2 theme.

For those who missed this, one of the trailers for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes reveals more scenes than the original trailer along with the movie’s main theme song, “Long Hope Philia” composed by Suda Masaki. Suda has also provided the same track but a television version for My Hero Academia Season 3, ending 2 theme. You can listen to the track in the movie trailer and the ending clip below.

While the movie releases in Japan on August 3rd, no word yet for North America, the theme song will be available to purchase and download on August 1st. This is Suda’s first composed song to be used in an animated film. You can pre-order the track and the various versions of it on Japan’s iTunes store or at CD Japan’s website. No indication yet if the North America or Europe’s iTunes store will carry the track but CD Japan maybe your best option to purchase.
