UPDATE 7/21 at 12:00pm ET: We’ve added the first episode preview video below. This introduces not only Mega Man but other characters including Mega Mini who lives inside Mega Man to help with repairs.

Mega Man: Fully Charged was announced a few days ago it would land on Cartoon Network next month. Now, a time slot and a trailer of the series was revealed during San Diego Comic Con (SDCC).

Prepare for a mega battle with Mega Man starting on Sunday, August 5th at 6:30 a.m. ET/PT. That’s going to be pretty tough for fans and kids to get up on a Sunday morning to watch. Not sure what the agreement was on that time slot. However, all 10 episodes will be available on the Cartoon Network app and various VOD and on-demand streaming platforms on Friday, August 3rd. DHX Media (one of the companies involved with the television series) will have trailers and clips on their YouTube channel called WildBrain.

Capcom most likely had little to do with the direction of the show as it’s run by Man of Action Entertainment (Ben 10), Dentsu Entertainment USA (Yo-kai Watch), and DHX Media (Teletubbies). If you haven’t noticed already, the show is aiming towards kids than fans of the series. On one hand, I personally won’t be interested in watching it but my four-year-old may enjoy it and if he can get into the series, that’s a win for Capcom and the companies running the show by creating future Mega Man fans for Capcom. Last time we saw a Mega Man television series was about 24 years ago, which ran for two seasons, originally planned for three.

We’ll see how these 10 episodes will do when it airs each week on Sunday morning at 6:30 a.m. ET/PT, starting August 5, 2018 and when the full episodes become available on Cartoon Network’s app starting August 3, 2018. For now you can watch the SDCC trailer below.
