Arc of Alchemist has been announced for the PlayStation 4 and will release in Japan on November 29th this year. The role-playing game will have action-based battles, construct facilities, and using a special device called the Luna Gear. Lunar Gear utilizes special parts and unique powers from ancient alchemy. However, the only one that can use this device is by the game’s protagonist, Quinn Blazeford. Here’s the official synopsis from Famitsu magazine and further down are key features of the game.
Just under 100 years have passed since the founding of a small kingdom. Quinn, a young commander who belongs to its army, is chosen as the commander to lead the group who will investigate the “Desert of Beginnings” where a “great power” that can save humanity is said to lie dormant. However, the research groups of other countries eyeing the desert have either been annihilated or forced to withdraw. But even so, for the hopes of mankind and the sake of her friends, Quinn set off on her journey.

- Construction: Build a Base to Aid Your Adventure – At the base, where Quinn and company tide over, various facilities can be constructed that aid in character strengthening and exploration. Construct facilities that suit your play style, such as strengthening characters, enhancing equipment, etc. to build up a base all your own.
- Exploration: Explore the Vast Desert in Search of a Great Power – The field is a vast desert. Monsters wander about these harsh lands, and mechanical traps block the player’s path in dungeons. Avoid traps, solve mysteries, and procure the “Great Power” to save mankind.
