Square Enix has released a new video, the Dragon Quest XI character trailer, or better yet the “The Loyal Companions” to get you up-to-speed on who you’ll be teaming up with. You’ll fight along side with Erik, who’s good at stealing and will aid you at the beginning of the game. Veronica, a young mage with some spells to get you out of a pinch. Serena, the party’s healer who is laid back and soft spoken. Sylvando, wearing a jester-looking attire who seems to have a cocky attitude. Jade, a martial artist who’s noble and can take down enemies physically. Rab, mysterious old man who can use interesting techniques for battling foes. Of course, you the hero who is a reincarnation of an ancient hero, set on a noble quest to fulfill his destiny.
We’ve taken some gameplay footage from an import copy of the game to get you ready when you start your adventure in Dragon Quest XI. The RPG will release September 4, 2018 for the PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam).
