BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle new characters has been announced by Arc System Works during EVO 2018. How many? Nine characters and will come in as three per pack, making it three total packs for their cross-world, 2D animated fighting game. Each pack will cost $4.99 USD each on August 6th. Here’s what each pack will contain:

Character Pack 4

• Mitsuru Kirijo (Persona 4 Arena)
• Izayoi (BlazBlue)
• Merkava (Under Night In-Birth)

Character Pack 5

• Yuzuhira (Under Night In-Birth)
• Mai Natsume (BlazBlue)
• Akihiko Sanda (Persona 4 Arena)

Character Pack 6

• Nine The Phantom (BlazBlue)
• Mika (Under Night In-Birth)
• Labyrs (Persona 4 Arena)

Cross Tag Battle brings in the world from BlazBlue, RWBY, Under Night In-Birth, and Persona 4 Arena. If you’ve been following the game’s designs and it’s special 4-square logo, each separate world (franchise) represents each square. Blue representing BlazBlue, red for RWBY, yellow for Persona 4 Arena, and purple for Under Night In-Birth. At the end of the announcement trailer during EVO 2018, a new square was represented, pink. Rumors have been swirling of possibly bringing characters from the Senran Kagura franchise or even Arcana Heart. If we had to put a bet on which one, we’re going to guess on Arcana Heart since the third title, Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! was published by Arc System Works. For now, it’s a mystery.
