Things are starting to get cooler over at EVO 2018. Bandai Namco makes a surprise announcement with not only announcing the base Goku and base Vegeta release date to be August 8th but a new character as well. Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s next new fighter is Cooler, Frieza’s brother. Cooler’s first appearance was from Dragon Ball Z‘s movie Cooler’s Revenge (also known as in Japan as “Clash!! The Power of 10 Billion Warriors”). Those who have watch the movie will recognize his signature moves and attacks. Arc System Works has done a splendid job on integrating moves and poses to match the original manga and anime series.
No release date has not been confirmed for the new fighter. For now, we have Goku and Vegeta’s throwback characters to release in mere days.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Coming soon to the Nintendo Switch on September 28, 2018.
