Back in March, we mentioned about a new Super Mario cereal design that was in the works. We can now confirm that the amiibo-less boxes are hitting store shelves and replacing the Super Mario Odyssey designs. With only the front of the box showcased, we took a few photos comparing all sides of the box: front, back, side left, side right, top, and bottom.

You can view the photos below and for those who have been looking for the original Super Mario cereal boxes with the amiibo functionality, now is the best time to find them before having to bid on them from eBay. If you cannot find the original Super Mario Odyssey box designs, we recommend get in contact with someone that can help you find one, either a relative or a friend outside your town before looking on eBay. Once they leave the store shelves, that’s it.

While the new designs may stick around for awhile, don’t expect the Super Mario cereal to stay on store shelves forever. If you are a collector of Mario and Nintendo, grab yourself a box and hang on to it. It maybe another decade or so before we see a Mario or Nintendo cereal back on store shelves.
