Streets of Rage 4 Announced After a Long Silence

Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding return for a brawl.

It’s been just over 24 years since we saw a sequel to Streets of Rage. Last release was in April 1994 for Streets of Rage 3 on the Sega Genesis. No more waiting. Streets of Rage 4 announced to be in development and a teaser trailer was released. The project is handled by Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games, Dotemu, and licensed by Sega. The trailer announces two returning characters to the game; Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding.

We’re seeing more Sega classics coming back and we aren’t complaining. No date or platforms were announced at this time but we can take a solid guess to expect it on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. You can watch the trailer below and you can visit the official website for additional details.
