Streets of Rage 4 Announced After a Long Silence

Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding return for a brawl.

It’s been just over 24 years since we saw a sequel to Streets of Rage. Last release was in April 1994 for Streets of Rage 3 on the Sega Genesis. No more waiting. Streets of Rage 4 announced to be in development and a teaser trailer was released. The project is handled by Lizardcube, Guard Crush Games, Dotemu, and licensed by Sega. The trailer announces two returning characters to the game; Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding.

We’re seeing more Sega classics coming back and we aren’t complaining. No date or platforms were announced at this time but we can take solid guess to expect it on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. You can watch the trailer below and you can visit the official website for additional details.
