At the end of the Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Europe is getting a sleek looking special edition that includes the game, GameCube controller, and converter. Nothing has been mentioned about a special edition for North America until this morning. Posted on the official Super Smash Bros website, a Super Smash Bros Ultimate special edition will be coming. Based on the photo posted, it’ll include a steel case for the game and the speciality printed Smash Bros emblem on the pro controller. The edition will launch same-day as the game. Pricing and retailers to come but taking a wild guess, expect the special edition to be exclusive to stores like GameStop.

If you have no interest in buying the special edition, you can still order the special pro controller separately. For those that want a GameCube controller with the Smash Bros emblem on it, that’ll be available to purchase too. We’ve seen a few speciality pro controllers released and they sell like hot cakes. If you are pondering to get one, you’ll want to get that pre-order in quickly when available. Once they sell out, you’ll have to import it if you want a chance to have one in your hands.
