Each console will receive an unique pre-order. PlayStation 4 players will receive a Dead or Alive 6 theme for their console and a playable character, “The Female Tengu” Nyotengu. Xbox One players will also receive Nyotengu along with a bonus costume for the legendary Ryu Hayabusa.

There’s also something special for those purchase the game by March 14, 2019. Players will receive a bonus costume of the popular Kasumi. Don’t worry Steam players. You’ll also get the Kasumi costume and the Nyotengu character when you enter the Early Purchase Bonus program on Steam.

In addition to the pre-order bonuses, Koei Tecmo also revealed a digital deluxe edition that’ll include a set of 25 extra costumes, three bonus music tracks, a DDX exclusive Kasumi costume, and the formidable Kasumi clone, Phase 4. If you’ve been following the Dead or Alive series, you know they really do love costumes so expect more down the road.

We had an opportunity to test out Dead or Alive 6 during this year’s E3 and were quite impressed with the next installment of the Dead or Alive series. The game takes the direction of “toning down” the female sexualization. Giving the game a new coat of paint, a more “serious” look that gives characters scratches, marks, torn pieces of clothing, etc. It’ll be interesting if this direction gives the franchise a fresh look for new fans to enjoy.

Dead or Alive 6 will release February 15, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Visit the official website for additional details.
