Square Enix has announced that The Last Remnant Remastered will release in the west on December 6, 2018. The game will be available on the PSN store for a retail of $19.99 USD. An English trailer has been added, replacing the Japanese trailer from last night.

Surprise! The Last Remnant Remastered announced from Square Enix is one of the recent games that was announced within 24hrs to get a remastered. Earlier, Square Enix announced that Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was getting a remastered version, now this 2008 game is as well. The Last Remnant first came out as a Xbox 360 exclusive in 2008. It received mediocre scores and then in 2009 it received a PC port. The game in last few days has been taken off of Steam and raised a few questions why. Now we know.

The PlayStation 3 missed its opportunity but makes up the lost role-playing game when it releases in Japan on December 6th this year. As for a western release, no details yet but expect it to come next year. With Tokyo Game Show coming up in a few days, we should expect to hear more details.
