Can you believe it has been four years since Captain Marvel was announced? Now, the first Captain Marvel trailer has surfaced during the morning broadcast of Good Morning America. 10 years of Marvel Studios and this is the first female lead film. Movie takes place in the 1990s, which you’ll get the hint in the beginning of the trailer. Captain Marvel’s Carol Danvers (actress Brie Larson) uses her power to fight against the shapeshifting race, the Skrulls.

During the trailer, Carol struggles to remember her past, as if she had a connection with Earth. We’ll also see a younger-looking Samuel L. Jackson in the film as he unravels the mystery of Carol and the Skrulls. A theater poster and trailer are available to view below. Captain Marvel opens in theaters on March 8, 2019.
