My Hero Academia: Two Heroes Breaks Into Top 10 Anime Movies in Box Office

Entering at #10

My Hero Academia: Two Heroes has made enough impact in the box office to enter the top 10 grossing anime films in the box office for North America. The movie pushed out Studio Ghibli’s The Wind Rises and sits at #10. The super hero movie opened up in 508 theaters and banked $5,721,371 USD since its opening on September 25, 2018.

Quite impressive. You can read our review on the movie as you wait for digital and physical release of the movie. With Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie releasing in theaters on January 16, 2019, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes could likely be pushed out of the top 10. Especially since tickets have sold quite well in Japan.
