During the Dead or Alive Festival 2018 in Tokyo, Japan, the next fighter for Dead or Alive 6 was announced. NiCO, the next original character to be added to the game’s roster. NiCO, also known as “The Lightning Technomancer,” who’s a profession in Pencak Silat, a historic martial art of Southeast Asia. NiCO’s attacks uses powerful plasma discharges that can also increase her Pencak Silat strikes and quickly. Ninjas shouldn’t take her lightly despite her work of field as she also has a natural sense for martial arts.

Additionally to NiCO, two new fighters will be making a return to the Dead or Alive roster, Helena’s half-sister, Kokoro and La Mariposa. Kokoro is a master of Ba Ji Quan who can take away her opponent’s balance and make them pay. Kokoro first appeared in Dead or Alive 4 in 2005. La Mariposa, a female Mexican wrestler known as “The Immortal Butterfly,” is a master at aerial attacks. La Mariposa first appeared in the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball in 2003.

During NiCO’s announcement, two new stages were also showcased. ZERO, a research facility built by M.I.S.T. and MIYABI, a quiet Japanese town surrounded by bamboo. Can never have too many stages and characters with this series.
