Trails of Cold Steel III announced to come west this fall. Fans of the series can breath easily after years of waiting. For instance, Trails of Cold Steel II released in September 2014 on the PlayStation 3. Published by XSEED and Marvelous Games. This isn’t the only time a XSEED and Marvelous game has swapped to a different publisher. The Ys series has been published under XSEED and Marvelous for years until Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, when NIS picked it up. Additionally, a trailer was released on the game’s western announcement, which can be viewed below.
PlayStation 4 players can pre-order the Thors Academy Edition of the game right now. This limited edition comes with a few goodies: physical game, hardcover art book, five postcards, a Mishy plushie, selected soundtrack, and a fancy box to hold everything in. However, the post card designs are not finalized just yet.
If you haven’t played the other Trails of Cold Steel games, you can pick them up for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III releases on the PlayStation 4 during the fall of 2019.
