Kingdom Hearts III has shipped more than 5 million units globally for all platforms since its January 29th release. Marking it as the fastest selling game in the series. Additionally, the units sold include both physical and digital copies sold. Selling Kingdom Hearts III at 5 million is a solid milestone. We wouldn’t be surprised if the numbers keep growing throughout the year.

Compared to previous titles, this is not a surprise the game has sold this much in a short time frame. The game was released on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in digital and physical form and with a worldwide release date. However, Japan started the game few days before everyone else did.
