Kingdom Hearts III has finally arrived and what’s the best way to capitalize the celebration? Merchandise. Sony Japan is selling a limited edition Kingdom Hearts III headphones and Walkman.
The Kingdom Hearts III Walkman edition is designed with Sora, the main protagonist decal on the back. Two songs are pre-loaded on the device. Kingdom Hearts III opening theme “Face My Fears” and closing theme “Don’t Think Twice”. The device will have 16GB internally and can hold up to 144GB with a microSD card. The limited edition Walkman will cost 28,880 yen (approximately $263 USD) before taxes and warranty. Not a terrible deal since lot of the Walkman on the North America Sony store run about $40 cheaper. Fans will pay that extra for a Sora decal and theme songs added.
The Kingdom Hearts III headphones doesn’t have any character details except a pattern of symbols based from the video game series. This headphone set is also wireless and will cost 24,880 yen (approximately $226 USD) before taxes and warranty.
Both items will come with a fancy designed box, something collector’s won’t want to throw away. They’re available for pre-order and ships late March the earliest. However, the product can only be purchased and shipped within Japan.
