We haven’t heard much when Skullgirls would be heading to the Nintendo Switch since Anime Expo 2018. Now, we at least have a release window. Skullgirls 2nd Encore releases spring of 2019 for both the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One. However, Skybound Games will be selling a physical limited edition on their store. In fact, it’s available now for pre-order until March 31st or when supplies run out. Xbox One fans will not receive this special treatment. Here’s what you’ll get in the package (details from Skybound Games):

• Physical Skullgirls 2^nd Encore Game Copy for Nintendo Switch ($29.99 value). Includes all previously released DLC and additional characters.
• Skullgirls Original Soundtrack ($24.99 value). By composer Michiru Yamane, on a never-before-released 12” Vinyl Record
• Skullgirls Switch Controller Skin ($9.99 value). Fight in style with this special Skullgirls joycon controller skin.
