KILL la KILL – IF, the next anime fighting game developed by Arc System Works coming west. The game was announced during the summer of last year and a trailer first appeared during the Anime Expo. The 2.5 dimensional fighting game will have a new story, written by the original author of the series, Kazuki Nakashima.
PQube Games announced that they’ll be publishing the game for Europe players this year, both physical and digital. We are still waiting for official word for North America but expect one soon. The game will have original Japanese (with subtitles) and English dubbed voices. Great news who enjoy either or both languages. The fighting game will have anime scenes in 3D in the story mode, replay your battles, background and voice libraries to listen, and create your own diorama.
The game will have various fighting modes, such as your standard offline and online matches along with ranked matches. Tutorial and practice modes to be available for newcomers. Additionally, there’ll be a survival challenge mode and a covers challenge mode. In survival challenge mode, waves of random CPU opponents come at you. In covers challenge mode, defeat a swarm of Covers. Defeating them will raise your Ketsui’s level. This mode has three ways to battle: one minute challenge, hundred enemies challenge, and endless battle.
KILL la KILL – IF will release this year for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). You can visit the official website of the game for additional information.
