Persona 5 S Announced and It’s Different

Not a port of the original Persona 5 but it’s something for Switch players.

Persona 5 S has been officially announced. Though the official title of the game, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, is not a straight port of the original Persona 5 game. Instead, the game is a musou action RPG. If you played the Dynasty Warriors series, this will be familiar to those who enjoy these type of games. Omega Force, who has also worked on Fire Emblem Warriors, and Hyrule Warriors, will be developing the game.  The game will release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStaton 4. Unfortunately, a release date is up in the air at this time. At least you can watch the official trailer below with some gameplay action.

Those that were hoping from yesterday’s Persona 5 The Royal would come to the Nintendo Switch will have to keep hoping the next Nintendo Direct will announce something.

Seth Hay: When Seth is not designing or developing, he spends time with his family and his occasional dose of anime, sports and video games.
