Castle Crashers Remastered release date for the Nintendo Switch has been revealed and it’s just around the corner, mid-September. PlayStation 4 users will have to wait a little longer, no date set yet for the Sony console. The last time The Behemoth brought their game to a Nintendo console? Back in 2004 on the GameCube called Alien Hominid. Castle Crashers originally released in 2008 for the Xbox 360. The game still holds a strong fanbase for over ten years.

If Castle Crashers Remastered sells well enough on the Switch, could we potentially see more future games ported over to the hybrid console? Alien Hominid, BattleBlock Theater, and Pit People for both the Switch and PlayStation 4 would be a warm welcome.

Castle Crashers Remastered release date for the Nintendo Switch set for September 17, 2019. You can watch the official trailer below.
