Star Ocean First Departure R release date announced for western countries. The remaster of the classic role-playing game (RPG) releases December 5th digitally for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Those who pre-order the game for the PlayStation 4 (PS4) will receive a PS4 theme and a mini soundtrack from the Star Ocean Live 2019 Concert.
Star Ocean First Departure released on the PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2008 for the west. Star Ocean First Departure is a remake of the original Star Ocean game, released in Japan on the Super Nintendo in 1996. The HD remaster includes full voiceover, new character illustrations, speed mode, and an adjusted game balance.
