Pokemon’s first movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back received a special CGI and released in Japan in July of 2019. The movie made around $26.6 million total and $5.1 million opening night in Japan. Anime Expo last year had a special screening of the film if you were lucky enough to get in. You won’t have to wait too long those who live in the US.
