Granblue Fantasy Versus releases on the PlayStation 4 in 2020 worldwide, launching in Japan first on February 6. Great so when does the game release in the west? Today, XSEED announced Granblue Fantasy Versus release date set for March 3, 2020 in North America. Additionally, there’ll be various bundles to purchase.
Viewing the graphic above, players have options to choose. From the standard edition to the deluxe pack, there’s not a single option that has everything. Not even the physical premium edition. With the character pass only available in the “Deluxe Pack” and “Character Pass Set” bundles, it’s a bit bizarre the premium bundle does not have this nor the exclusive illustration theme for the PlayStation 4.
The fighting game offers a free color packs for specific bundles (see chart above). Color Pack Set 1 contains four color patterns for the starting eleven character roster (some of this content will also be unlockable by completing certain requirements in the game). Color Pack Set 2 and Color Pack Set 3 each contain five additional color patterns for the same characters. Here’s a surprise, purchasing the game gives the customer a download code granting items for the original Granblue Fantasy game on mobile and web browsers.
The game features eleven Granblue Fantasy Versus characters to start, more if you purchase characters from the game’s character pass (which can be purchased separately from the bundle).
