During the NPGX event, Inti Creates showcased their latest video game sequel to the 2018 BloodStained: Curse of the Moon. Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 announced for the consoles and PC. The sequel returns in its 2D action and a dark, 8-bit aesthetic together with modern playability. Players play as Zangetsu, a swordsman from the far east, who holds a strong grudge on demons. While playing, players will meet new team members to add to their playable roster. Three new characters added to the game including exorcist Dominique. Players can swap between multiple characters during battle, each with their own unique skillsets. Those who have not played Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon yet, now is the perfect opportunity to jump into it that plays homage to the classic Castlevania. But of course with Koji Igarashi developing the BloodStained games, it’ll have that Castlevania vibe.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2 releases on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam) digitally. No official launch date set yet and no physical release announced. The official game website opened to the public.
