Indie Game Ex-Zodiac Brings Back the Glory of Super Nintendo’s Star Fox

For that polygon shooter itch.

Indie game Ex-Zodiac currently in development by developer Ben Hickling for nearly two years. Taking notes from the Super Nintendo’s Star Fox, the low-poly game looks to give fans something they missed since the glory days of the Star Fox series. With Hickling just launched a KickStarter for the game, it’s highly likely the game will reach its initial goal of development. The game set to have 12 main levels, plus secret areas and side-paths. Multiple routes to finish the game along with major boss fights on each level. Each boss a Zodiac, hence the title of the game. The game’s soundtrack supported by a 16-bit style, giving it that nostalgia ’90s feel. As of now, no stretch goals to be added.

For the time being, the game set to release on PC (Steam). However, you can add the game to your wishlist and play the demo now while still being developed. While the developer would like the game launch on the Nintendo Switch, finishing the game takes priority. Hopefully this 3D shooter game eventually comes to Nintendo’s hot console soon after.
