Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020 Registration Opens

Announces first wave of guests.

While the in-person expo is cancelled, the expo continues on. Today, the Virtual Crunchyroll Expo 2020 registration opens to the public. Like the Funimation Con 2020, it’s free to sign-up. The virtual event begins September 4th and ends September 6th, only on crunchyrollexpo.com.

Additionally, Crunchyroll announces its first batch of guests. The cast and creators from Rent-a-Girlfriend, So I’m a Spider, So What, and The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter will be attending the virtual event. Attendees will get get to hear Kenta Onishi, the director, Yuki Yamada, the producer, and Satoshi Shoji, the Editor of Original Work of The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter to talk about their upcoming anime. Okina Baba, light novel author of So I’m a Spider, So What also making an appearance.

That’s not all. Artists and cosplay will get their chance to shine at the 2020 virtual expo. The anime arts district highlights artists and their work on the website with direct links to purchase their work. Additional artists added on the website every two weeks, be sure to check back.

Regards to the cosplay, the Crunchyroll-Hime’s Cosplay Cup will take place Saturday, September 5th. Those interested will need to enter their submission form by July 26th, 11:59 PM PST. Two of the four judges announced are Creature of Habit and God Save the Queen. The event hosted by Mario Bueno and Vampy Bit Me.
